Helen’s Hill 2007 Yarra Valley Chardonnay

Our 2007 Yarra Valley Chardonnay has continued to rack up some impressive accolades. Last week we were informed that the Helen’s Hill 2007 Chardonnay has been selected by James Halliday for his prestigious annual “Australian Dozen“.

The “Australian Dozen” (this year celebrating it’s 40th anniversary) is sponsored by the Australian Newspaper and show cases 12 wines selected by renowned wine critic and The Australian wine columnist, James Halliday. Wines from all over Australia are judged with the 12 best making it into the final dozen. Last year our Helen’s Hill 2006 Chardonnay made the cut and we are all very pleased that the 2007 is filling the rather large shoes of its successful older sibling.

This presitigious nomination adds to the 07′s past success, namely;

Gold Medal                   2008 Royal Melbourne Wine Show

Blue/Gold Medal          2008 Sydney International Wine Show

Gold Medal                   2008 Victorian Wine Show

Bronze Medal               2009 International Chardonnay Challenge
