The 2024 vintage of Long Walk Pinot Noir continues to honour the distinctive character of the Yarra Valley, offering lifted aromatics of wild strawberry, raspberry, and a touch of clove. Compared to the 2023, this release shows greater structure and depth, reflecting the slightly cooler and longer ripening conditions of the vintage. The palate is medium-bodied but more assertive, with layers of red cherry, cranberry, and fine savoury spice, supported by firmer yet polished tannins. Hints of dried herbs and forest floor add complexity, while bright acidity carries through to a long, focused finish. While drinking beautifully now, the 2024 vintage has the framework to reward cellaring over the next 6–8 years. Ideal pairings include roast duck, mushroom risotto, or grilled salmon.
