Helen's Hill 2025 'Luminosa' Fiano

The 2025 season in Heathcote brought warm days and cool, steady nights, giving our Fiano the chance to ripen slowly and develop its natural generosity. After six months in barrel, it’s come together as a bright, flavour-packed wine with an easy sense of balance.

The nose shows ripe pear, stone fruit, and a gentle almond note. On the palate, you’ll find peach, citrus, and a soft honeyed line, all wrapped in a smooth, creamy texture. There’s just enough freshness to keep it lively, making it a versatile food wine.

It’s the kind of Fiano that shines with simple, honest dishes — seafood pasta, grilled chicken, or a good piece of creamy cheese shared over a relaxed meal.

Our 2025 Luminosa Fiano shines with aromas of lemon blossom, pear, and a hint of toasted almond. On the palate it’s equal parts zesty and silky — flavours of grapefruit, lemon curd, and white peach glide over a creamy, textural base from time in barrel. There’s a flicker of spice and a mineral edge that keeps things beautifully balanced. It’s radiant, layered, and just a little bit exotic — like summer bottled with restraint.

Grown in the iron-rich soils of Heathcote, the 2024 Luminosa Fiano was hand-picked to preserve freshness and natural acidity. The fruit was whole-bunch pressed and fermented in oak barrels, where it spent six months maturing on lees to build texture and roundness. Fiano’s natural structure and aromatics make it ideal for this gentle approach — creating a wine that glows with both vibrancy and depth.

This is a white that loves flavour — pair it with grilled prawns and lemon, crispy pork belly with fennel, or burrata with olive oil and fresh herbs. It’s a knockout match for Mediterranean and Asian dishes alike — the kind of wine that brings sunshine to any table, whether it’s linen-clad or picnic-rugged.
