Experience the magic of Christmas at Carols by the Barrels at Helen’s Hill Winery! We've partnered with the Yarra Valley Grammar Senior Chamber Choir to bring you a festive evening filled with music, food, wine, and holiday cheer in the beautiful Yarra Valley.
Join us on Saturday, December 7th from 6pm - 8:30pm for an unforgettable evening featuring live carols, seasonal delights, and the perfect atmosphere to celebrate the season. The choir will perform three 20-minute sets of carols throughout the evening, creating an enchanting backdrop for a night to remember.

1. General Admission (Lawn Area)
- Admission: $10 per adult; free for school-age children (18 years and younger).
- What to Expect: Relax on our beautifully manicured lawn and enjoy live carols by the talented Yarra Valley Grammar Senior Chamber Choir. Local food truck legend Frosty will serve hot food delights, while Helen’s Hill will provide our famous lawn platters. Wine, tap beer, and soft drinks will be available at the Lawn Bar.
- Note: Tabled seating is limited, so bring a picnic blanket to enjoy the lawn if you miss out on a seat.
2. A La Carte Dining Experience (Upstairs Deck Bistro)
- Admission: $10 per adult, added to the table bill on the night; free for children 18 years and younger.
- What to Expect: For those seeking a seated dining experience, our upstairs deck bistro offers an a la carte menu alongside the evening’s carols. Enjoy a cozy setting with spectacular views and the choir's festive music in the background.
Additional Festive Highlights
- Christmas Hamper Raffles: Enter to win delightful holiday hampers, with all proceeds going to the Petet Foundation.
- Wine Tastings: Visit our Wine Room for tastings throughout the evening and stock up on your favourite wines for the holiday season.
Terms & Conditions
- This event is weather dependent. We will make a call 72 hours out as to whether it goes ahead or not.
- Children aged 3 and under are not required to book a general admission ticket but will need a booking if they require a seat for bistro dining.
- This event is strictly not BYO food or drinks (food for infants is allowed).
