Christmas & New Year at Helen’s Hill
The festive season is one of our favourite times on the hill — long summer days, good food, great wine, and plenty of reasons to gather with friends and family. Over Christmas and New Year, Helen’s Hill will be opening on selected dates across tastings, dining and outdoor seating, welcoming guests to enjoy a relaxed visit to the Yarra Valley.

The Tasting Bar
Our Tasting Bar will be open on all operating days throughout the festive period, offering relaxed wine tastings and extended seasonal hours. It’s the perfect time to slow down, catch up with friends, and explore the wines that reflect our family estate.
To make summer even sweeter, we’ll be pouring two fresh new releases for the very first time — our 2025 Pinot Gris and 2025 Breachley Block Chardonnay. Bright, vibrant and made for warm days, they’ll be available to taste throughout our festive trading period.
The Bistro
The Bistro will also be open on all operating days, serving our full seasonal menu. Whether you’re planning a long lunch, a relaxed afternoon with family, or a festive catch-up with friends, the Bistro brings together thoughtful food, estate wines and unhurried hospitality.
Outdoor Dining
Our outdoor dining areas will be open on each day we are trading between Christmas and New Year and after New Years until Monday the 5th of Jan, welcoming guests to enjoy vineyard views and the easy pace of summer. As always, outdoor dining is weather-dependent, but when conditions allow, it’s a beautiful way to spend an afternoon on the hill.
