Ingram Road 2024 Chardonnay

From our single site in Coldstream, this Chardonnay reflects everything we love about the 2024 vintage – a season that delivered bright fruit, balanced ripeness, and a natural freshness in the glass. It’s vibrant and easygoing, filled with citrus and stone fruit characters, and just a gentle touch of oak to round it out. Fresh and lively when well-chilled, or a little richer and more expressive as it warms in the glass – however you enjoy it, it’s always approachable. Perfect for grilled chicken, creamy pastas, or simply a wedge of soft cheese with friends. This is relaxed Yarra Valley Chardonnay at its best – authentic, unpretentious, and perfect for relaxed afternoons and easy entertaining.

Pale gold with a hint of green, the 2024 Ingram Road Chardonnay opens with aromas of citrus blossom, white peach, and melon, rounded by soft vanilla and cashew. The palate is fresh and finely balanced — ripe stone fruit and citrus are layered with subtle oak texture and a gentle creamy finish. It’s crisp, generous, and effortlessly moreish.

Sourced exclusively from our Coldstream vineyard, the fruit for the 2024 Ingram Road Chardonnay was harvested at the exact moment when ripeness and natural acidity met in perfect harmony. Fermented and matured entirely in French oak barriques — all seasoned one to two years — the wine developed texture and depth without overt oak influence. Time on lees added creaminess and complexity, while the vineyard’s natural brightness kept the palate fresh and poised. The result is a Chardonnay of quiet refinement and remarkable balance — single-vineyard quality made beautifully approachable.

Ideal with roast chicken, seafood linguine, or creamy risotto. Its brightness also complements soft cheeses and light summer dishes. Whether poured at a picnic, a backyard barbecue, or a quiet night in, Ingram Road Chardonnay is proof that great wine doesn’t need to take itself too seriously to impress.
